I heard about these fires just as they finished…..THIS was the photo that my Dad emailed to show me how bad they were! My family still lives on the hill edge of Lindisfarne….I was soooo shocked but soooo glad to see this AFTER it was under control! It’s an amazing photo- especially to us locals who realize that’s fire-not house lights in those back hills!

An absolutley riveting image, whenever theres a bushfire in Hobart, it’s prescence is felt so intimately and this image has captured that so well.
