I am working on a monster picture and no matter what I do I just cant get it right. Colours, poses, media…nothing works, I know what I want, its just not working. I will get it one day, just not yet. In a momment of frustration I scratched out a figure having a bit of a sook. The idea being that I would put all my grumpiness into this picture, screw it up and throw it all away. Well, he didn’t make it that far and I ended up putting some colour into him. Now he can sit forever having his little HARRRUMPF!
Coloured graphite, watercolour pencils and some pastel on A4 printer paper.
Great work mate. You’re getting better and better at capturing the “feeling” without having to go for photo-realism. Where did you get that hat? (love it!) I hope we get to see the monster picture too. Or did this guy take the monster out of the other picture and claim it for himself?
