This work was inspired by prayer. We all have at one time needed something, and when we need, we ask… ask, from someone.
I often see the pain and the anguish that people use to stress how badly they need that ‘thing’. While simultaneously trying to capture this ‘out pour’ of emotion and remembering some of my own desperate prayer times, I distinctly remembered these words from the Bible:
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?:"
Prayer is here to stay, and no matter how you ‘say it’ always remember that, it is for someone’s ears to hear & to do something about it… :)
Annamora (with kind permission) had this to say: “Anguish how badly we need a thing, you say – and when we pray about it the prayer lifts us and we leave all badly needed things behind and we are one with all above and below …” Now this couldn’t better said.
