Going nowhere, knowing nothing
I was afraid and still I felt
It should be more…
But I was all alone.
My feelings…numb
Were taking over
Flashing images between my eyes,
Blind from the light and memories
Being afraid to die.
Watching everything behind my back
A guardian angel from the sky
Touched my shoulder…
Stole my doubt…
And whispered in my ear:
I love you much you earthly creature!
Good care I’m gonna take of you
Come with me in holy heavens
Your soul shall never die.

Quest
This poem is based and inspired by an image
captured in Hampton Court Palace ( UK ),
inside the Privy Garden.
This garden from Henry VIII’s day was always the King’s private garden, and very few people would ever have gained admittance to it up until the 18th century. Even then, it remained a private garden for the grace and favour residents of the palace right up until the early 20th century’.
The Privy Garden as it appears today is one of the most accurately reconstructed gardens because so much was recorded about the original 1702 garden.
