My art is primarily inspired by the beauty of nature, however I love to experiment on different elements from time to time and I’m always up to the challenge for specific commission requests.
A former Military Intelligence Officer in the US Army, I now dedicate my time to my kids/family and my artwork. I regularly do commission pieces for home decor and office spaces. I also work with an international sales representative, selling large floral pieces around the world. In addition to selling online, my work is on display at a couple shops/galleries.
In reference to my photography, I photograph anything that catches my eye. I’m drawn to nature, flowers, and natural light. I use a Nikon D70 with a wide format lens, a macro lens, and a telephoto.
Recently, I won third place in the still life category for “Sunflower” in the Artist’s Magazines’ annual student competition (someone who have been painting for less than 2 years). An article was released in the January 2008 edition of the Artist’s Magazine.
**I do commission pieces if you have an idea. Additionally, if you see a painting that you like that has sold, I can paint a similar one to the exact size you wish.
