Edward (Eddie) My companion for 14.5 years by

Eddie was the delight of my life, my treasured companion, my best friend always by my side, he took me for a walk each morning for 5k but later on 3k. Eddie was deaf in last 12 months but still alert, he was also losing his sight.. He got rapid liver cancer and was gone in 5 days. PTS ever so gently as I held him in Sept. 2009. He took my heart with him and left his soul for me to love and care for…miss you every day my little friend. – Mumma

I know exactly what you mean when you say, ’’He took my heart with Him!" They are a lovely breed of dog, so happy to be with people, love attention and give in return.

I am so sorry for your loss. Lovely little dog!

  • Thank you so much Azellah, he was a proper little gentleman and the love of my days, the reason I got up each morning…WE shared our lives for 15..5 years and when he took ill I was so unhappy as I had always thought I would go first and had made arrangements for someone to take him. But Life was cruel and took my little man, he battled cancer for only 2 weeks and went down hill so fast that he was half his weight and I chatted with him and I am sure he knew.. He lay on my lap as he was given the Needle of Peace by his vet and he took my tears and heart with him on his journey…Almost 2 years and I still can’t replace him. But days come and go and so I live happy with his memories. I thank you for your lovely comment and wish you a beautiful day……Shirley
