It’s amazing how natural formations can take on the visual of items we can readily identify with. This is the case of this, as yet to be identified, prairie sunflower plant. The ‘visage’ is very convincing. What do you think?
I have yet to identify this mid-summer prairie plant, but believe it is a type of sunflower. This is the seed pod that emerges when the flower petals fall and the pollen head drops away. It’s really an odd plant. Anyone who can ID this plant, please – let me know. ". )
