novO inventus by Edibl3leper

camera phone picture, edited only to brighten the picture, the tonal ranges are natural and I felt they fit for what I was attempting to accomplish. I edited the eye liner making it darker and brightened the eyes a smidge. The skin was not retouched, however I believe it looks the way it does due to poor pixel rate, thank god for crappy camera phones.

This was taken when my hair was platinum blonde not too long ago. I was going for a truth shot, and I got what I wanted so thusly, I hated the picture and have for some time. Recently I looked at it, and cropped it in what I thought was an interesting way.

The huge scandal of the photo was, I didn’t draw on my eyebrows. If you knew me, you’d know I am not me without them. I hate my natural eyebrows, exacerbated by the fact I used to shave them, they will never fully grow in. )-:

This is the new invention, newly discovered, the me beneath the me and I happen to like it in small doses. (-:

Originally dark blonde, shy girl with an inferiority complex. But that’s no fun now is it? White hair, yellowy hazel eyes by birth most usually cloaked in the doll eye trend, a “the louder the better” mentality, and an ego the size of Detroit (as fake as my hueless hair I should mention) rounds out my very normal nautre. (-: Judge me by my poetry and my writing, and you’ll know me better than 85% of the rest of the world. (-:

Very lovely shot; very expressive and intense. . The eyebrows looks quite good! And YAY for green eyes! :D

  • Green Eyes are amazing no? Mine are basterdized a smidge, most would call them hazel by definition, some ask me if they are yellow or orange, but I’m content in knowing, like me, my eyes are enigmatic. (-:

Excellent capture! I love how the light plays in the eyes. Thank you for proving once again that the beauty comes from the subject, not the camera.

  • That was one of the coolest comments I could get. Seriously, I’m actually smiling at my notebook screen, how corny of me right? Thank you so much. (-:

I know what you mean! My eye doctor asked me to tell him what color I felt my eyes were: blue or green. GREEN, said I, and he wrote that down. ;) It depends on the light. My eyes are like a mossy stone at the bottom of a pond: a mix of green, hazel, and blue, but I adore green eyes so I focus on that! ;p
