Survivours 2 test

The hummer that Marcus was traveling in had carried him in and out off the red zone more times than he could remember. The only time that he truly remembered was the first time, when the infection first hit Canada. He was only 17 years old then. Now 7 years later he was going back to salvage for food, water, ammo and guns, just like every other time.
“Hey, guys.” Will said over the loud roar of the engine.
“What.” Replied Jake sharply, sounding more irritated than he normally did.
“I want to add something to the list.”
“What might that be?” Marcus asked leaning in closer to Will so he could hear him better.
“A diamond ring.” Will said looking almost exited when he said it.
There was a short pause.
“Wow, you really are a fag.” Jake joked.
“Shut your trap Thompson,” Ryan ordered harshly.” What the hell do you need a ring for?”
“What do you think I want it for?” Will said looking at everyone like the answer was right in front of them. “I’m going to purpose to Rachel!” Rachel and Will had been together for almost 2 years, in her opinion this was almost overdue.
“Hot damn, boys we got our selves a wedding to look forward too!” Phil shouted from the driver seat.
“Wow about time.” Jake said. “You guys are going to have an Armageddon wedding!”
“Well in that case, we need a few more things on that list.” Marcus said as he grabbed the small piece of paper out of Jakes hand. He pulled out a small black pen and wrote down as best he could through the bumpy back woods driving, red wine, beer, smokes and a diamond ring.
“There we go every thing we need for a bachelor party.” He passed the list around and got a few laughs out of it.
The dull terrain continued to fly past them. The tall pines and the towering mountains were nothing new to Marcus, it was nothing new to any of them. They had all been rounded up by the military 5 years ago. They would have said no but there was nothing to do other than salvage. Besides this way the army supplied them with guns and ammo.
“Hey Marcus?” Will whispered to Marcus “Can I ask you something?”
“Go for it.” He replied as he let his head rest on the seat.
“Were you, nervous when you asked Elizabeth to marry you?”
Marcus chuckled at the question.
“Oh hell yes. Like you couldn’t imagine”
“So how did you do it?” Will asked eagerly.
Marcus’s mind wandered back to the day that he had purposed to Elizabeth. It had been a good day the sun was bright, and the trees were swaying calmly in the wind. Marcus hadn’t planed his proposition to well. He had actually had to try twice; he had slipped up the first time.
“I can’t really tell you how to ask her.” Marcus whispered back to Will. “All I can do is give you my confidence.”
That was obviously not the answer Will had been looking for. Will slumped in his seat and sighed. They were out of the mountains and they were on the highway traveling towards the city.
Ryan turned to face the men in the truck. He was about to give his safety reminder about how to be carful and don’t get eaten the corpse eaters.
“Alright boys you know the drill, don’t get munched and be extra carful this time, we have a wedding to go to, it would be rude not to show up.”
Every one of them had their own way of handling the idea of being ripped apart by zombies. Jake choose to ignore the idea, Ryan pretended that they couldn’t bite. Will and Marcus both thought of their wives. Phil was never out of the truck, so he never thought about it.
“So were to first?” Phil asked “People’s or the liquor barn?”
