Love me, don't eat me ~ by

Canon 5D Mark II 24-105mm lens (on loan only… sigh).

Melbourne, Australia.

My gorgeous girl Rosie was rescued from cage hell. At 18 months lof age when they stop laying every day, they are sold to the pet food manufacturers. Rosie and her friend Daisy are now free to stretch their wings, scratch in the dirt for worms and enjoy the sun, all the things they were denied in cage hell. My gift to them – their freedom! Happy retirement gorgeous girls!!

Nice effect. I’m glad you rescued them from “Cage Hell” but won’t they eat up your colorful bugs??

  • Good point! They have their own chicken run and the whole of the backyard. Fortunately, most of the bugs are in the front. Thanks for stopping by!
