Another in my vegan card series, “Chickens with Attitude”.
My gorgeous girl Daisy, giving it her all for the camera! All my hens have been rescued from cage hell. When hens stop laying they are worthless and sold off to the pet food industry. What a horrifying thought that my gorgeous girls would have ended up minced and in a can had I not rescued them! It breaks my heart to think of all the others I cannot rescue. They have such wonderful personalities and make gorgeous pets.

This is fantastic . . . love it. Mike had a rooster named Freddie when he was a kid . . . a Rhode Island Red. Talk about attitude . . . nobody ever thought about eating him.
Thanks so much Carol and Mike, yes, they make awesome pets!

Having kept chooks I do like chook with attitude :-)
So do I, my newly adopted dog won’t even go near them now and to think I was worried he was going to eat them!
