Upper Langdale – Cumbria This panoramic view is taken from Side Pike looking towards the famous Langdale Pikes in the beautiful Lake District in Cumbria. The view from the left takes in Green Tongue – Rosset Crag – Gravel Moor and sweeps round to Pike o’Stickle – Harrison Stickle and Pavey Ark with the beautiful upper Langdale Valley bathed in sun shine in the foreground. The area is famous for walkers and many climb a virtually circular walk from the valley base up and around Pavey Ark and continue their walk across fells to Pike o’Stickle and Harrison Stickle before the descent to the valley floor.
