This view is across Derwent Water looking towards the peak known as Cat bells and the sweeping vista to Maidem Moor. Although Cat Bells looks imposing it stands at a modest height 1480 feet and continuing along the shoulder the landscape rises to Maiden Moor standing at 1,890 ft high.
