What a great contrast you have here between the complexities of the ancient architecture and all that its history conveys and the brutal snap back to the reality of a more recent time of viscious conflict to which the signage refers!
Your expert use of the subtleties of light in your exposure and processing give this strong, brooding B&W life and draw the eye directly to the crucial elements which this story tells and what I really like about that is that the light’s intensity is stronger on the most crucial element.
