I hadn’t taken any portrait-style shots of the dog in while, with all the terrible news in Canada about inhumane treatment of sled dogs in B.C., it seemed like a good time to pause and reflect upon the valuable gift it is to interact with the animals in our lives. So here she is with her big bristly face all full of snow, after playing in Sirocco valley near Calgary, Alberta!
