Wildhorse Creek by

A lovely spot in Waterton National Park in the rocky mountains of southern Alberta, Canada. The red colour of the rock really makes for some unique shots of the area- lets you compose with a different colour palette than you are typically faced with in the rockies!

This is gorgeous. I have to do some research where exactly in the park is it.

  • Thanks, Teresa- it is just before the red rock canyon parking lot- a little pullover with a picnic shelter. Definately check it out if you get the chance!

Gorgeous capture…….such lovely motion you captured as well.

  • Thanks Sean- it was actually raining quite a bit when we were taking these, so staying still was a challenge in the cold and wet mountains that day!

The red is awesome…..I must get down to Waterton someday!! Congrats on the Alberta Group feature.

  • Thanks very much, Roxanne! Definately head down there for a few days if you get the chance- it is very different from the other rocky mountain parks, and everywhere you look there is a shot waiting to be taken!!
