Took another whack at the SP project today, since the light was looking good in this corner of our house. Tried this one with my favourite ‘hippie beads’ as the Boy likes to call ‘em. Got some ideas after a brief meditation on the ’athena’ complex- according to myth, Athena, the greek goddess of wisdom was born after Zeuss, suffering a terrible headache, cut open his own skull with an axe and out she sprang- fully formed, an intellectual fulfillment. With all that in mind, music for the ‘shoot’ today was Joanna Newsom (seems like its always Joanna these days….)
