Beautiful capture Ernie….Old World Wisconsin is on my list of places to visit this summer. When the lillies bloom (i have some just like those in the pic) i’ll be there…..

  • Thank you Dennis, I want to get back there again. Have you been there before? If not plan on spending all of the day there, and the Tram tickets are worth the extra money. Here is some info on the Place.

me too, we could be brothers…long lost!! hahaha
My ancestors came to Australia around 1850 fromthe Rogaland rgion of Norway.
My brother knows our home village and area.

  • Hi Bro!!! My sister has done the genealogy on our family but I don’t recall were we were from. My father was Swiss and came to this country as a boy through Ellis Island.

No i’ve never been there Ernie….i’m looking forward to seeing the place. Is it that large of a place that it takes a good day to see it all? Wow…..

  • If you go to the info I gave you, they have a site map. There is a lot to see and it is spread out. maybe not a whole day but at lest an afternoon, it all depends on how much is going on and how much time you spend taking shots.

I checked out the link you Sent Ernie…..i can see where a visit to this place might take up the better part of a full days outing. What a cool place….i’ve driven by it dozens & dozens of times throughout my life but have never stopped there. It’s been there for quite a number of years….perhaps it’s better that i have waited so long to visit the place….the trees and plantings will all be mature now lol…..

  • I am sure you will enjoy it, I have been there several times and still find new a great things to see. First time there I didn’t have a camera with, and they were sheering sheep the old fashion way with a sheers, I kicked myself for missing that!
