Disappearing Act

This beautiful creature is the East African bongo, a large antelope that lives in the forest. Different tribes in Africa have legends about the bongos’ various magical powers, which are largely a reflection of their ability to “disappear” into the forest at a moment’s notice. This particular species of bongo is endangered due to habitat destruction and poaching, and now there are more East African bongos in captivity than there are in the wild. Let’s hope that we can help this species before they do a real disappearing act.

Again a sad story behind this beautiful animal it’s unbealiveable how people do not care if they kill animals off of the face of this earth. Okay so I have to rant sometimes. This is another one I will be after when I have the extra money.

East Africa ecosystem & bongo’s plight is disheartening indeed; as the Sahara desert expands daily into this once fertile region of human and Bongo families thriving together. i am thinking stopping desertification politics may be necessary; But EC thanks for doing something directly to save the precious Bongo! Your profits does go to a wonderful cause!!!!!
