Old Timers - George
This is the third in a series of portraits I am taking for my ‘Old Timers’ series It brings to light those who have dedicated decades to their chosen occupation, craft or trade, some by choice others through need. A trait which is rapidly diminishing in todays society where people are in constant flux between jobs, careers and hobbies.
This is a salute to the Old Timers!
This is George, the owner of a local Milk Bar. Since emigrating to Australia 55 years ago from Italy he has worked hard to build up his business which he has thoroughly enjoyed running for the last 40 years. He has seen others come and go but he remains committed to what is his joy and his livelihood.
An updated Bio to come soon… I hope you enjoy!

the series is so impressive, however, what’s more impressive is the qaulity of your images, and the way you are able to capture the inner person within these portraits… the alsmost 3-D aspect of this image really makes me amaze at your processing skills… This is superb!

I love this. It’s great to give these everyday people acknowledgement. Where would we all be without the local shopkeeper? Lost I tell ya.
