1941 Chevy Special Deluxe by Ebbers
I’ve been photographing the Mapes Classic Car Collection, recently (Roca, Nebraska, USA). Twelve Cars all going up for sale, after his passing; all rare convertibles. Jack Mapes worked with Mike Dugan in restoring old vehicles and they had a great attention to detail. Perfectionists, really.
This is the 1941 Chevy Special Deluxe hood ornament. Production for this model was 15,296. I wonder how many are around today.
