*My boyfriend’s Mother has several Irish Gypsy horses out on the farm. They’re like smaller versions of a Clydesdale. They have long manes that become dreadlocks if not brushed, feathered legs, and they are incredibly strong, extremely patient and loving.
This guy’s name is Shadow. He is almost four and is now getting trained. He’s black/brown with white patches and has a very wise soul. He has spent time around little kids and he moves so slowly because he doesn’t want to frighten or hurt them. He seems to want to please everyone he meets. He certainly wants to get close to my camera!
All the horses know I’m uncomfortable around them (I wasn’t raised on a farm), so they like to get close to me as if to say, “See? I’m not so bad. Can I chew on your coat?”*

Great capture! Love the Gypsy Cobs!
Gypsy Cobs! I was told that there are about a half dozen names for this breed. I’m not a horse person, so I just don’t know. Thanks for stopping by with a comment! :-)

Awesome shot, so cool.
Thanks, Troy! I’m happy that it turned out with some clarity. He kept moving with the idea that he was going to eat my lens!
