The heart, like glass, can crack if not embraced with tenderness.
*I spotted a couple about to hug while I was wandering the area outside of the Museum of Glass (located in Tacoma, Washington, USA). I quickly snapped my camera to capture the moment, but I had no need to hurry. They held each other for quite a long time as the evening light was taking over the scene!
I was later quite surprised and pleased to find that the triangulating lines of the glass structures had come to a point that matched the triangulating lines of the cone-shaped museum itself. Bonus, really!*
Wow, I love this building! Could you tell me who is the architect (I don’t understand it on the site that you have linked to.)
I looked over the website and I couldn’t find the information either. I sent them an email, however, so as soon as I get a reply, I will let you know! It is a fantastic building, I agree!

I finally recieved an answer!
“The overall architect of the Museum is Arthur Erikson; however, the cone itself was designed by Wyn Bielaska, more information can be found at http://www.museumofglass.org/about-mog/history/ Thanks for your interest in the Museum of Glass, Traci Kelly”
please consider one of your artworks for the challenge TRIANGULAR Shapes
I thought of using this one, but then I saw that no cones where allowed. Even though there are definitate triangular shapes all over this one, I didn’t want someone to cause a stink if they thought I was using the image of the cone.
Eh… I’ll go ahead and toss this one into the mix. I’ll let the others decide. :-) Thanks for the nudge.
Hello Ebber ,, t Your capture is maily triangular focused,,, even the bridge in the background offers triangular shapes,,, this would be suitable,,,yes there is one cone,, but it’s not all cone focused,, this group is not hard core strict,, we’re a friendly bunch,, go with what ever feels right for you ,,,cheers
