I miss your gentle touch. Even if you can’t come back…

I’ll wait.

I like the compositon. Well done.

  • Thanks! This is one of my absolute favorites of my own. There’s something about the stone and the lichen…

    love the lichen and moss!!

(i saw a horror flick like this where the statue grabbed a man out of love, but ultimately it ended badly (for the man – the statue was perfectly contented – it had what it sought))

    ominous, yet gratifying image!

  • Thank you! The other day I was at a friend’s house and checked in here. I looked at some of my gallery and I noticed on this one… it’s unusually green (like, too much on the saturation). I don’t know if it’s my computer, or his computer that needs adjusting. What does the saturation look like to you, may I ask?

(I want to see that movie you speak of. Do you remember the name of it?)

Waiting, and still waiting… Love the combination of the keen composition and the added text.

  • Thanks so very much! This has always been one of my favorite photgraphs of my own. Sometimes, I think I would like to have a live model pose this way to photograph, but then… I think the lichen is what really sets this pose off. It’s the imagined story, if you will.
