A Graduate's Wish
I received a couple of requests asking me to write a poem to be placed on their graduation invitation by friends of the family…after reading Cinderella1225’s beautiful poem entitled, “Colter Ryan” I remembered mine and thought I’d post one. This one is from a young lady that lost her parents and was being raised by an uncle and his wife.
A Graduate's Wish belongs to the following groups:
Everyday Life and Living ChristianityHonor me with your presence
On this momentous occasion
As I finish my passage through
This current stage of life
Honor me with your wisdom
That you have accumulated,
So I can form a safety net
As I soar on the wings of youth
Honor me with your experience
To divert possible failures
And thwart the ignorant disease
That I may learn from your book
Fore if you honor me with
Your presence, your wisdom
And your experience
Then I will truly be blessed indeed.
