To be a mother is the hardest challenge God could give a women
To be a mother takes patience and time
To be a mother takes courage and pride
To be a mother means you will have sleepless nights
To be a mother means your heart is no longer yours
It goes where ever your children go
To be a mother means giving more then you want to receive
To be a mother means never giving up when things aren’t going your way
To be a mother can become painful and stressful at the same time
To be a mother means giving up an old life to be reborn with your child
To be a mother brings happiness when you see your child grow up
To be a mother means still trying to care for your kid when they are adults
To be a mother means never being alone in your thoughts
A mother must think twice; once for herself and once for her children
To be a mother means you are a song filled with comfort, happiness and being
Yet people may forget the words, but they will never forget the tune
A mother is the first to help her children when they fall
The first to tell you a story as you drift off to sleep
The first to kiss your booboos when you get hurt
And your mother is the first person you run to for help
All of these things describe a mother, but my mother
My mother is a poem I’ll never be able to write
Though everything I write is a poem to my mother
