Profile
I’m Helen Lambert, an early career fine and decorative artist, illustrator and designer. I started painting and drawing when I was old enough to pick up a paintbrush, and haven’t stopped since. I took a brief hiatus from my art to read Classics to BA and MPhil level at Cambridge University, but I’ve since recovered, and currently live in a tiny flat in North London with a very fluffy white cat.
In my bubble you’ll find fantastical, dreamlike fine art painted in oils and acrylics. Richly symbolic, emotionally sensitive portraiture. Magic realism, nature and supernature. Seasonal and druidic imagery, the wheel of the year. Mythological narratives, gods and goddesses, pagan iconography and altarpieces. Among other things.
When not making art I mostly work as a fetish model. I also enjoy hoola hooping, playing music in pubs, cooking, blogging and drinking real ale.
