Perched on the edge of a World Heritage Wilderness, not far from Tasmania’s wild west community of Queenstown, Lake Burbury teems with brown and rainbow trout.
Frequented by local fisherman camping out on well prepared grassy sites (suitable for tents, caravans, campervans and motorhomes). Boats are launched from one of the well built ramps and the catch of the day is barbecued on the waterfront … as the sun dips into the water beyond the horizon.
