Australian by birth and raised on the beaches of Port Stephen’s in NSW, the EarthGipsy (Sonia) has lived and worked (in community services) across Australia and in Britain. Having travelled extensively throughout Europe, Asia and Oceania she is most captivated by the history, culture, social diversity and people of the Pacific islands.

When not travelling, base camp is 100 acres of wilderness between Canberra and Jervis Bay in southern NSW.
