It was a tumultuous year after the birth of my first child. Although in love with being a mom, and with my daughter, I felt enormously out of touch with the outside world. A strong feeling of disconnect seemed to engulf me, as it appeared I was always on the inside, looking out at a world I was no longer part of. One of the ways I coped with those feelings was by giving them voices with my art.
It really works for me too – delicate, sensitive, centered. Love your work with windows. Thanks for your comments too Kerry. See my last journal entry as I am not around really much with study. Ciao.
