So, I’d like to try a different film tomorrow. No specific idea in mind, just feel like exploring. Anyone have a personal favorite? I usually shoot with Portra VC or Velvia, or if B/W then Plus X.
I’d love suggestions!

I’m using digital and found a Photoshop Plugin that makes your image look like it was shot on film. It has a list of different films, print and slide. you can get a demo at exposure
You may not use digital but I thought this might be interesting.

Hi Kerry, I ususally shoot with Velvia or Provia (if I can find it)! For B&W I prefer Ilford FP4. Hope that helps!

Wow, this is really a cool thing! I really don’t know much about digital, but hope to get one in the next year. For now, however I’m still solely using film. I’ll surely check this out though when I get going with it. I had no idea this was out there!!! So excited!

Samantha – since I’ve used both of the color choices (good ones, too ;-) maybe I’ll check out the Ilford FP4. Used to shoot w/ Ilford years ago when I first started out. Great suggestion. Thank you!
