I’m sorry, but Van Gogh did this a whole lot better with his chair! This reminds me of overpowering fill-flash photography. Any atmosphere has been killed by too much interior detail. I don’t know what I’m supposed to be viewing or understanding. The arty walls? The plastic out of place chair? (if you’re going to main feature a chair – at least make it characterful)The window light? The window? What watcher? Then put him in his chair please! Sorry, awesome this is not. Again, this is just IMHO. Everyone else thinks it’s a masterpiece.
