I’m sorry, but Van Gogh did this a whole lot better with his chair! This reminds me of overpowering fill-flash photography. Any atmosphere has been killed by too much interior detail. I don’t know what I’m supposed to be viewing or understanding. The arty walls? The plastic out of place chair? (if you’re going to main feature a chair – at least make it characterful)The window light? The window? What watcher? Then put him in his chair please! Sorry, awesome this is not.
Again, this is just IMHO. Everyone else thinks it’s a masterpiece.

It reminds me of my grandfather back in europe when I was a little girl, sitting next to a window and watching people go by. He alwayz said there is so much learn by watching others, you can almost tell their story by watching everyday. I Love This shot!!!

Thanks Tereza. Afraid I tought myself by playing around with Photomatix and Photoshop, so don’t have any recommendations for tutorials… I’ve considered writing one myself in the past.. If I ever get around to it, I’ll let you know!
