HEY BABY DOLL,
I HAVE BEEN TRYING TO KEEP BUSY. THERE’S JUST TOO MUCH GOING ON. I DON’T UNDERSTAND A LOT, CAN’T FIX ANYTHING, AND CARE ABOUT TOO MUCH I GUESS. I SPENT THE EVENING WITH ALYSSA. WE GOT OUR NAILS DONE, GOT HER SOME CHICKEN AND MASHED POTATOES, THEN WE JUST HAD TO GO THROUGH THE COOL CAR WASH! SHE IS SO SMART, SHE IS GROWING UP SO FAST. PIROGUE WILL BE FIVE YEARS OLD TOMORROW, I HAVE NEVER DONE ANYTHING FOR HIM FOR HIS BIRTHDAY, ALYSSA SAYS I NEED TO GET HIM A DOGGIE CAKE AND A PEOPLE CAKE FOR US. HE WAS BORN 2 DAYS AFTER YOU WERE TAKEN. I MAY TRY TO DO A LITTLE SOMETHING THIS YEAR, SO SHE WILL BE PROUD OF HERSELF FOR COMING UP WITH THE IDEA. I MISS YOU SO MUCH. It has been 5 long years and yet sometimes it seems like only 5 minutes… no matter the time or space the pain is no less. It only seems to grow. It is hard to make it from day to day and every time something comes up that I once did with you and now have to do with someone else it breaks my heart. John and Missy have done a wonderful job of getting me back and forth to the doctor. They always make sure that I do not go alone. They have taken very good care of me in that respect. We still have our disagreements but you know it works out in the end. I love them dearly but I miss you as much as I love them. I would do anything to have you here for just one day… I can only wait until the day that we will all be back together again. I love you Elizabeth Rae. Stay close and continue to watch over us all.
