Garden of the Gods / Morning Parallel's
Morning visit to the Garden of the Gods. What a beautiful park outside of Colorado Springs. It’s a place where Red Rocks jet up out of the ground. Absolutely Beautiful.
This picture was taken from the V of these tree’s that twist oddly. I don’t know the name of these trees, hopefully someone who is actually from this area of the country can help me out with the name.

Thank you. I went early in the morning to capture the early morning light. I was far off the trail, later I learned your not suppose to leave the trail. Oh well, it was worth it.

I call them scrub cedars, mountain cedars, or just junipers. There are likely more varieties of that I know of, but all the trees in the SW area are pretty scruffy. I love the danged things, as they are do such wonderful ballet movements and hold them for longer than I can stay to watch!

There’s the answer I was looking for. Scrub Cedars. I don’t have them around were I live. There cool. Thanks.
