As I stand speechless before you.
I want to scream and yell about my feelings.
See past the exterior barracades that surround.
Look into the reality of the moment.
This girl, is just a girl.
Confident and outgoing.
Electric and exciting.
Creative and talented.
Yet scared and tired.
Hopeful yet hopeless.
Forgotten and hurting.
Bypassed and invisible.
Yet remains strong and patient.
This girl, is just a girl.
Not a toy, not a mistake.
So I will fade again,
Until my heart and mind agree.
I cannot ask for anything.
I do not have the right to.
So I stand speechless in the distance.
Heart beating for you as it always has.
And always will.
This is me.
Speechless.
