Albert Woolson was the last surviving member of the Union Army, which fought in the American Civil War. He was also the last surviving Civil War veteran on either side whose status is currently undisputed.

As a former hairdresser, Dyle changed her profession and spent a life long career processing data for various Fortune 500 companies.
After twenty-four years working for Texas Instruments she decided to take an early retirement and pursue her passion for Photography.
Her former co-workers, along with family and friends, encouraged Dyle to start her own business doing what she loved most.

    Wonder how old he was when he passed away, had to be over 100, Great memorial, neat that he is honored.

  • Woolson died at St. Luke’s Hospital in Duluth on August 2, 1956, at what was thought to be the age of 109. Thanks for posing the question…I just added his birth date, etc. above.
