    These towers are called silos and are mainly used for storing grain. I was vacationing here in my hometown of Pennsylvania. Hadn’t been home in many, many years and have always missed PA.
    Farmland is rapidly disappearing here in Texas and as a result we are seeing fewer silos. They are somewhat different looking though…
