    Damien this has turned out beautifully! I love the contrast of the ladies in blue against the deep warm intimate oranges of the background. It looks lovely framed as a print too, great work. : )

    you are lucky! I don’t think I will be painting for the next 3 weeks. even considering taking some of those mood stabalizers i so gently weaned myself off of… yes, am about to break down or break through… not sure which.

    Just came back to take another look. I really like this, it’s peaceful and calming and makes me feel a bit more grounded when I look at it. I am very drawn to their faces and especially their eyes which seem so soulful.

    Ps… I keep looking at it and thinking “metamorphasis” for some reason I feel this evokes a sense of moving forward, change, self transformation, a new way of being. That is what makes this such a good painting Damien, it’s realistic enough to have a narrative, yet abstract enough for one to navigate through and come to ones own conclusion.
