This is so gorgeous….I would love to know more about the technique if you felt like sharing…..if not, I can only say…..I can understand why you wanting to keep it to your self for a bit!! WOW!!! Excellent work!!

  • I’ll try as best as I can Elizabeth. It starts out as a multiple bracketed exposer a la Photomatix. Then I apply a very slight soft blur and then into Topaz to apply some of the painterly effect. All done on different layers so I can really adjust it to my liking. Does that help at all? I’m not too good at writing an explanation.

I do understand and thank you so much. I have been doing some similar things but this really looks so awesome!! really has the feeling of a painting!! Very seamless.

  • Sometimes I just stumble happily into something that really strikes my fancy. I also need to break out of the mold some times and see where that other path leads!!!!!!

This is so painterly… great treatment that works really well on the trees! : )

  • Thanks very much M! I was happy with the way it turned out.
