Coral growth on the ex-HMAS Hobart. The Hobart was scuttled in 2002 in Yankalilla Bay, about 2 hours drive from Adelaide. It doesn’t take long for the ocean to claim its prize and transform a grey metal hulk into a vibrant living wonderland.

That really is amazing. I had no idea coral could grow so fast. Wonderful capture!
thanks Adam – its mostly soft corals & other critters on there (no idea what exactly)
This is a fantastic shot………………………..
Amazing capture!!.. Beautiful…
Great shot Ben, I’ve really got to get down there!
Thanks Matt! It’s well worth visiting! The current is a bit of a killer, but once you get inside its quite peaceful.. and at slack tide you can really have a great time poking around
Bold vibrant colours, and good composition.
It is nice to know that temperate waters have bright corals too. I thought they were only in Queensland. I’m hanging out to see a Leafy Sea Dragon!
If tomorrow brings good luck, then you might be in with a chance!
Magnificent shot, how beautiful!
