Pollinated! by

This honey bee on my Ceanothus in my back garden was so weighed down by pollen – and yet there always seems to be room for a bit more!

Incredible shot! What a wonderful display of natural contrasting and matching colours. I love the way the yellow pollen bulges on the bee’s leg visually link up with the yellow stamens on the blue flowers. And the orange hairs are such a beautiful contrast with the blue as well.

This is an awesome shot. Colours and clarity and contrasts, it doesn’t get much better.
