My Crining Song by Durotriges

The lovely Les Magee has introduced the Bubblettes to a new term recently: “crining”. This refers to the round shouldered, hunched posture of PC users and pianists. She challenged us all to write a crining song. Here’s my effort…

I’m hunched over at my PC
And I’m trying hard to type
But my chair is tilting forwards
And it’s getting hard to feel
My bum, it’s getting number
And my shoulders growing round
There’s something happening to me….

Glory, glory, I am crining
Glory, glory I am crining
Glory, glory I am crining
And my back is getting sore….

I went to see the chiropractor
He said I was in trouble
Because I’d been spending too much time
Chatting on Red Bubble
He laid me on a stretcher
To straighten out my back
When he did it just went crrrack!

Glory, glory I’m still crining
etc…
