Permanent Mark Up Reductions!! Cards now only £2.20!

Posted about 3 years ago

In a desperate attempt to generate some sales here, and owing to the increasing base price here at RB, I have now reduced my markup permanently to a measly 4.7%. This means that a card from my portfolio now costs a paltry £2.20, a print under £10! So why not take a look? What have you got to lose?

My Crining Song

But my chair is tilting forwards
And it’s getting hard to feel
My bum, it’s getting number

And back again. Who says a degree in Ancient & Medieval His…

It can be terribly frustrating. Take now, for example. The reason s…

The Heart Of The Artist

Posted almost 5 years ago

I was having an interesting conversation with my photographer friend Ian the other day. He was comparing my work to his. In his words, his photos were more “documentary” or “factual” while mine were more “artistic” and “poetic”. I was quite flattered by the comparison as I have always wanted to convey emotion and narrative through my pictures.

But i…

So How Much Is Too Much?

Posted almost 5 years ago

I took a picture. I was up in North Wales visiting the in-laws, which is always a good opportunity to go out and take a few shots. I love walking out in Snowdonia, and they live right at its northernmost edge. So up the hills I went and then down into the next valley – walking in Wales is like that. Llanfairfechan was where I ended up. In a shady little spot with a lovely rock-strewn river …
