ABOUT ME
The world is becoming increasingly self-obsessed and isolated. People spend more and more time with their heads down texting on their mobiles, headphones on playing the soundtrack to their lives or cocooned inside their cars. No-one has much time for the world around them any more.
The photographer’s job is to make people look twice. To bring them outside of themselves and look at the world around. To find the beauty in unusual places, to make people look at things they would otherwise pass by.
So slow down. Take your time. There’s no rush. And remember that there is a beautiful world outside. All you need to do is look up once in a while.
MY THEMES
THERE’S MORE TO SEE
I’ve been taking pictures here on the Isle of Wight and surrounding area for the last couple of years now and there’s much more to see than I’ve displayed here. If you want to see more, please visit my Flickr photostream If you see something there that you like, let me know and I will move it here.
I hope you enjoy my pictures!

The ferry bumps up against the pier / And so, for the first time, I am here. / But have I done right? / Should I have come? / Or am I in Eire?
Shrouded in cotton wool layers / Of depression and wine in equal measure / Cocooned in solitude / Love’s butterfly / Dreams of flying. / Faith knows.
