I have a magazine feature!
I did an interview a while back with the UK’s Digital SLR Photography Magazine, and it is now out in Australia!
I haven’t seen it yet, but check it out :)
Urgent....need advice
This will effect quite a lot of us.
I’ve had a letter from melb zoo sayng they own copyright of all my photos and that ‘commercial photography’ is not allowed, and to call them…etc.
I was under the impression it’s only commercial if you are using it to represent a product or place etc.
can anyone give me some advice?
2010 Calendars
My full collection is now for sale.
5% will be donated to a conservation effort by end of January.
I am......buying a mac tomorrow
I have given in….hehe. I will keep my PC though.
National competition question
Ok I have to admit, totally clueless about this.
I entered the Western Districts National 2009 comp via electronic submission. I just got in the mail my ‘results’, of the four images I entered. It says three are accepted.
What does this mean? There is an acceptance level too, what does that mean!
I don’t really get how national comps work as this is my first.
Must be some bubbl…
Does pimping up your profile really help with sales?
Any thoughts from those who have really put the effort in?
I know it’s hard to tell as you can’t be sure why/where the sale came from, but any thoughts would be a help :)
Good news - exhibition
A few pieces of my work will be included as part of an exhibition to take place in Massachusetts, USA during July. Two of the pieces will be available for purchase. They were printed/framed by Redbubble.
Below is the press release. The chosen images can be found on my blog -

My Zoo Tour!
I am excited, I’ve booked a holiday where I’m going to visit Adelaide Zoo, Taronga Zoo and the National Zoo & Aquarium – two days each except three at Taronga!
Anyone have any good tips for any of those zoos? :)
I’m also doing Meet a Cheetah.
Leaving on Wednesday 6th May!
Calling any Adelaide Zoo go'ers
I’m thinking of spending a few days at Adelaide Zoo.
How easy/good are the enclosures for photography?
Anything I should know?
Any “rare” animals that Melbourne Zoo may not have?
How is the chimp enclosure?
Links to any galleries would be great :)
Oh and how busy does it get at school hols?
