For me too..
Is that the Einstein´s Relativity Formulae?
This is apt for recalcitrants physics students…

It’s something a lecturer wrote, when I need a photo showing academics at work. Don’t know what it means! Probably something about stars revolving around a galaxy centre, stirring up dust, and generating heat.

Looks like a Fourier Transform of the dirac delta function in R squared space, which is the physicist’s screw driver for going backwards in time. What class was this? Or was is his research? Do you happen to know?
You’re better informed than I am, Kelly – I wouldn’t know a Fourier Transform from a Ford Transit! This was a situation where I had to provide a photo of a scientist, so asked Alan to oblige, with a handy PhD student. I just asked him to scribble something interesting on the whiteboard; I guess it was in some way associated with his research or teaching.
