Surf triptych I by Duncan Waldron

I become increasingly fond of a threesome. A single well-taken image can be all that’s required, but sometimes, I find three images conveys more about the subject – be it a portrait or a landscape. Whether showing changes in time, or slightly different facets of the subject from different angles, a collection of images can give a fuller impression of what the photographer saw.

Here, I’m looking at the ever-changing form of surf rolling in: same water, same beach, but chaotic motion means never seeing the same thing twice.

cool waves repeated
with foaming brow …
early sunset shadows

Wow, like a flipbook, fantastic! (The words to go with it are so subtle and picturesque!)
