This image was created with a 35mm camera body, modified to take a pinhole instead of a lens. The challenge of using 35mm for pinhole work is that you have to enlarge the image signifcantly – an image which is less sharp than one created with a lens. Careful technique and choice of subject must be used to offset this shortcoming; here I have used the strong backlighting and heightened saturation to benefit the final image.
BEAUTIFUL Duncan, I find absolutely no need for correction here, just excellent capture and a GREAT subject for pinhole.
Many thanks David. I’m just picky, and try to get the pinhole images as perfect as possible. I did intend to use a more interesting camera on the day, but that will have to wait until later.
