Beach Flow I
I was somewhat captivated by the ever-changing scene before me, as gentle waves rolled across the sand, changing the landscape with every sweep. I could have stayed there for hours!

great capture
Duncan Waldron replied
Thanks Zaldy – it took me back to the sort of thrill I used to get from photography, and have been missing.
dusty
Fantastic capture.
Duncan Waldron replied
Thanks Larry, glad you like it – I got a toasted head under a hot sun, to get these (more to come).
TLeeHoney
absolutely dynamic image – can see why you could’ve stayed there for hours!
Duncan Waldron replied
Thanks TLH – dynamic is the word, it was constantly changing … more like action photography than landscape!
cameraman
great shapes nicely composed
Duncan Waldron replied
Thanks cameraman – composition was a real challenge with the waves changing the view every time; I was wishing I had one of those pistol grip tripod heads to ease the aiming!
Tom Vaughan
just spectacular image! amazing “feathers” dripping down, and very well composed.
Duncan Waldron replied
Thanks Tom – just about to upload #2
LindaR

chris Whitney
I like the interaction of the water and sand; very nice.
Duncan Waldron replied
Thanks Chris; interaction was certainly the word. A time-lapse series might have been interesting.
Zaldy Infante
back to give props for this image… nature is wild and beautiful at the same time!
Duncan Waldron replied
Many thanks Zaldy. I suppose this was a bit wild in its own way – it was a gentle process but very unpredictable in what exactly was going to happen next. Nature’s a funky place!
